It’s after April 15th and all the major tax chains have closed their doors and left you stranded. Not Alba CPA.
Taxes never go away, and neither do we. You may need to amend your return or you filed an extension. You have until Oct. 15 to file, and, between now and then, we are available to prepare your tax return. We can also assist taxpayers who receive correspondence from the IRS and are unsure how to proceed.
Just because your check has arrived, doesn’t mean we check out. Sure, our hours change in the off-season, but we’re still available to discuss tax issues, amend tax returns, plan for next year, and offer our other services.
We strongly encourage all our clients to book a tax appointment prior to stopping by the office. We have been implementing tools and processes to limit customers’ wait times during tax season. View our updated calendar to book an appointment with Andi or Anita at SQUARE Calendar.
It is important that you keep an eye on your mail during the month of January for any tax-related items. Bring any letters noted as Important Tax Documents with you to your appointment for NJ income tax filing. You will also need personal information for each family member (SSN, date of birth, prior year tax returns).
IMPORTANT: Many institutions do not mail tax information any longer, instead they upload tax forms online. Make sure you check with all of your accounts online for any tax forms, including banks, mortgage information, investment accounts (stocks/bonds), unemployment information.
Alba Translations, CPA prides itself in being transparent and having a simple CPA cost structure. 75% of our clients (business services and tax returns) will fit into the costs described below. Sure, there’s always the outlier or the unusual situation, but the following information gives you an idea of our pricing philosophy.
